(Note: Rough draft/layout of describing action)
The scene starts with the main character Miles investigating a spider that had just bit him. He pokes the spider with a pen causing it to glitch, this glitch brings colour to the dark lighting of the scene, the glitchy spider causes Miles to appear shocked and look around with his phone flashlight. The camera switches from a precision focused on Mile to the camera lining up with Miles point of view. During Mile’s point of view there is a slight glitch effect with shifts again to Mile’s face with a bright blue taking over the background while the sound and facial expressions highlight Mile’s panic with the situation. The background is shaky as he panic however it is quickly stabilized by Mile noticing a curtain and while moving to investigate it he hears odd noised and that same bright blue effect returns on the background however this time features orange and a montage of chemical signs along side the spider from before to show Miles realizing the Spider was radioactive. As Miles continues to walk we see the blue appear again this time with more glitch as Miles freaks out and holds his head in panic. We then see the spidey sense appear over him in the same way it would have in the marvel comics. The spidey sense quickly disappears only for the glass behind Miles to turn blue with red comic text spell “LOOK OUT!”. Instantly something crashes into the window causes Miles to take cover then peek out from the hole created to see spiderman. The camera switches between a close up on Miles then back to spiderman trying to reason with the villain and once again back to zooming in on Miles. The camera then focuses on the large creature Spiderman is trying to reason with and then shows Miles confused as the large beast like creature seems to resemble a villain known as Green Goblin, Spider man and Green Goblin engage in battle while the camera shifts to Miles attempting to leave. However a large object falls due to a class with Green Goblin as Spiderman weds away. This object nearly hits Miles causing him to land on top of it only to be dragged along with it as Green Goblin grabs it. The camera moves with Miles until Goblin is forced to drop the object which causes the camera to fall with Miles. The camera then looks up from the fallen spot and shows Spiderman and Green Goblin fighting before quickly changing to Mile running away from multiple explosion effects and even a comic text “BOOM”. The camera Follows Miles running and shakes with every explosion effect and even a little as he runs. Miles then hides underneath a crate which is soon used as a weapon by Giblin. There is then a dolly zoom on Miles as he’s running away until he reaches a cliff in which the camera zooms out completely. The camera then focuses on Mile’s back as he nearly falls forward, the camera moving closer to the edge than Miles before then showing through the eyes of Miles trying to figure out what he’s looking at only to return back to a close up on Mile’s face. Miles is then thrown off the edge by Goblin falling into the area the camera positions underneath the fall and then above the fall watching Miles grab onto something to not fall all the way down. Miles then tries to pull himself up with only the camera to change its angle to look up toward where Miles is trying to hold onto and also revealing spidering jumping down, swinging past Miles. Miles then slips as the camera moves towards Spider-man with his spidey sense effect on and then back to looking down at Miles as he falls. The camera returns to Spider-man going in to rescue Miles and then back to MIles however with a red comic background in place of the real background as he falls and a blue-purple same comic background replacing the area behind Spider-man as he swings to save Miles. The camera moves to a faraway position where it appears as if we are looking at the scene through a hole in the side of the area where we see Spider-man catch Miles. There is then another close up on Mile’s Face zooming out to reveal him noticing Spider-man saving him. Spider-man takes Miles to a safer spot where Spiderman notices Mile’s shoe choices and as well as alternating close ups on Spiderman with a red and blue background and Miles with a Purple and green background which shifts to red and blue during the alternating close ups.

Hi Bri!
You’ve got some good stuff here. It’s clear for me how much work you put into describing the scene. You clearly depict what’s happening by breaking down the camera work, colors, and glitch effects in a very descriptive way. The way you explained the camera movements, like the dolly zoom and the transitions between Miles’ point of view and the wider perspectives was done well. However, there are a few times where you use some pretty long sentences and rough transitions between ideas which makes it just a little bit harder to follow, however I have noted that it is just the rough draft!.
I think you can definitely use some more demonstration of why the different techniques were used, and with the include some academic articles to back up your reasoning as I do not see any in there yet. Also remember to discuss how well the movie actually did by looking it up on a trusted site like box office mojo!
Overall I think you are doing well and should have a really good final draft! Just making sure to touch up on the sentences and transitions and use some scholarly sources to back up the reasoning you will use and you should be good!
